Ighalo, Teammates Knock Arsenal Out of FA Cup

Super Eagles and Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, picked the right occasion to end his seemingly long goal-drought as he was on target for Watford in their 2-1 victory over Arsenal in Sunday's FA Cup quarter final encounter at the Emirates stadium.

Ighalo put Watford ahead in the 50th minute before Troy Deeney teamed up with Algeria winger, Guedioura, who slammed a right-foot screamer into the top-right corner. Danny Welbeck's 88th-minute reply came too late for Arsenal.

Having won the competition in the past two seasons, Arsenal were understandably the firm favourites to progress to Wembley for the semi finals but that was not the case after Sunday's contest.

It was Arsène Wenger's side that dominated the first half, having the lion's share of possession and creating the best chances of the opening period.
